Sony has pulled Concord from sale just a week after its release and as of September 6, the Concord servers are officially offline. The decision follows the game’s struggle to attract players, with only 25,000 reported sales, as well as a very small player base.
As mentioned earlier, it’s uncertain if or when the game will become available and playable again.
Ryan Ellis, the video game’s director, has released a statement on these unfortunate developments.
“However, while many qualities of the experience resonated with players, we also recognize that other aspects of the game and our initial launch didn’t land the way we’d intended. Therefore, at this time, we have decided to take the game offline beginning September 6, 2024, and explore options, including those that will better reach our players.” – Ryan Ellis, the video game’s director.
